National Park Service Offers Free Teacher Resources Park Service logo

Archeology as a teaching modality might seem a bit off the path, but the National Park Service offers two resources for aiding teachers in using archeology to teach mathematics, geography, cultural studies, and citizenship. They are Archeology for Interpreters: A Guide to the Resource and Interpretation for Archeologists: A Guide to Increasing Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities. Both have been written by National Park Service to help interpreters and archeologists communicate with the public more efficiently. The website, shown above, offers a list of other resources that teaches will find helpful and students will find interesting.
